Design Team Lead (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

Independent elaboration and detailed design development of rough concepts from the technical management
Creation of production-ready designs in special-purpose machinery construction
Technical clarification and coordination with customers during project implementation
Technical and disciplinary leadership of the design team
Coordination and support of the design engineers in day-to-day operations
Ensuring compliance with quality, schedule and cost targets
Close collaboration with technical management, sales and production

Completed degree in mechanical engineering or comparable qualification
Several years of experience in mechanical design, ideally in special-purpose machinery construction
Very good technical understanding and enthusiasm for developing individual solutions
Initial leadership experience is an advantage
Confident use of common CAD systems
Structured, independent and solution-oriented way of working
Strong communication skills with customers and internal interfaces
Occasional willingness to travel
