What a system has to do is decided by the industry. Four fields we have been building in for over 30 years.
Here cleanability determines the design, not the other way round. Material choice, surface finish and every single weld have to survive thousands of cleaning cycles with aggressive agents without product residue settling anywhere. Stainless steel, hygienic design and modular belt chains are therefore part of our core business, as are cheese grating machines and container emptying systems.
Heavy boards, abrasive bulk material and dust. The requirement here is service life: wear protection, robust drives and designs that can be maintained during operation. Typical tasks are stacking systems for building boards, conveyors for bulk material and packaging at the end of the line.
Cycled material flow and defined positions. Workpiece carriers have to arrive precisely at every processing station, and the line cycle time must not be lost at any transfer. Chain conveyors with flights, rotation stations and assembly and test lines are the designs that count here.
The broadest field, from a single special machine order to a turnkey line. Added to this is contract manufacturing: steel construction and welded assemblies to EN 1090, execution class EXC2, also without reference to a Tomasic machine.
